Balai Lelang Serasi (IBID) has successfully maintained its ISO IEC 27001:2022 certification. This achievement affirms the company’s commitment to maintaining information security and providing transparent and reliable auction services to all its customers. IBID was first certified in 2021 and has now been re-certified, proving that IBID is consistently implementing an excellent information security management system.
ISO IEC 27001 is an international standard that sets out a framework for companies to build, implement, maintain, and improve an Information Security Management System (ISMS). The certification is granted by the independent certification agency TUV Rheinland Indonesia to IBID for successfully implementing an information security system, which includes a website and mobile app for used-car auctions.
Daddy Doxa Manurung, the CEO of IBID, said that the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 re-certification is an important achievement that reinforces IBID’s position as a leader of the auction industry in Indonesia. “With this certification, IBID can improve the security of car auction transactions and meet our customer needs. Our main focus is consistent personal data protection across all services,” said Daddy Doxa.
Daddy Doxa also affirmed IBID’s commitment to continuous improvement in the information security system, not only for auto auction services but also for other segments, such as lifestyle products, heavy equipment, and scrap. “We strive to maintain the established information security standard, thus increasing customer trust in IBID,” he added.
This success demonstrates IBID’s dedication to providing a safe, comfortable, and transparent auction experience to its users. By meeting international standards, IBID is constantly innovating to provide the best services, while ensuring that customer data security remains a top priority.
