IBID Expands to Pontianak and Receives a Prestigious Award

Balai Lelang Serasi (IBID) continues to strengthen its position as a top auction house in Indonesia by opening a new branch in Pontianak, West Kalimantan. The branch office was inaugurated on November 18, 2024. This office is located at Jalan Arteri Supadio No. 3, Kubu Raya.

The inauguration was attended by IBID President Director Daddy Doxa Manurung, along with the management and representatives of IBID Pontianak. During his speech, Daddy Doxa explained that the new branch is not just about expanding the network but also shows IBID’s commitment to providing customers with the best service. This step is a strategic move to make vehicle auction services easier for everyone in Pontianak.

“Opening this branch shows how serious we are about serving the people of West Kalimantan. We want to provide full services, from Open House, unit collection, to vehicle consignment services,” he said.

Since its establishment in 2007, IBID now has 11 branch offices and 10 auction pools across Indonesia. Pontianak is one of IBID’s newest branches after Yogyakarta, Kendari, and Palu.

Besides opening a new branch, IBID Pontianak also received an award from DKJN Regional Office of West Kalimantan as the Auction House with the Second Highest Auction Principal Achievement in 2024. Benhard Humisar, Head of IBID Operations, accepted the award at an auction performance evaluation in Pontianak on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

“We’re very proud because it shows that people recognize our good auction services. This makes us want to keep improving and giving our customers the best,” said Doxa.

Through the opening of the Pontianak branch and this prestigious award, IBID further reinforces its commitment to being an innovative and reliable auction house. The new branch is expected to positively impact the local community and support the growth of the auction market in West Kalimantan.
