Auction Made Easy With IBID

Balai Lelang Serasi (IBID), a subsidiary of PT Serasi Autoraya (SERA), held a media gathering titled “Auction Made Easy With IBID.”This event took place at Aroem, Jakarta, on Friday, 4 October 2024, and was attended by IBID management and national automotive news reporters.

As an opening, a talk show and a Q&A session about IBID’s business were held with Daddy Doxa Manurung, the President Director of IBID, and Sutadi, the Director of IBID, as the spokespersons. Manurung highlighted IBID’s various novel innovations, particularly the addition of auctioned products (also known as auction units) types.

“Today, in addition to vehicles, IBID also auctions non-automotive products, such as products that support various lifestyles. IBID holds auctions once or twice monthly,” he said during the event.

He also explained the benefits of online auctions IBID offers to its customers. “IBID now runs a fully online auction system via the IBID-Balai Lelang Astra app. This means all customers can join an auction anytime, anywhere. Moreover, we have added an installment feature for prospective car buyers,” he said.

In addition to a talk show, a live demo of the vehicle inspection service, Astra Car Valuation (ACV), was conducted. ACV is IBID’s vehicle inspection that helps prospective buyers gauge the actual condition of the auctioned vehicle.

“Prospective buyers can be at ease as all the cars they’re about to buy have been inspected by ACV. The inspection results are in the form of grades from A to E, indicating the vehicle condition,” he concluded.

This media gathering is an important momentum for IBID to introduce their auction-related innovations and educate the newspeople about their ever-growing services that ensure the customers’ convenience.
