One way to get a quick buck for a sudden, pressing need is to sell your car. Despite the urgency, though, take time to do a little market price survey, lest you get way less than you deserve.
To avoid such a thing, try selling your used car at auction. Given how auctions work, you’ll have a good chance of getting a fair price for your car.
One thing you need to consider when going this route is the credibility and professionalism of your chosen auction house.Always look to consign your car with a trusted, experienced, and reputable auction house.
To save you the trouble of finding one, just go for this highly credible auction house: IBID Balai Lelang Serasi. Under the banner of PT Serasi Autoraya or SERA, this Astra Group’s auction house has long experience in organizing both offline and online auctions.

To participate in online auctions, visit IBID’s website at www.ibid.astra.co.id or download IBID’s app from the Play Store or App Store. A key advantage of IBID’s online auctions is the ability to participate in live auctions remotely.
It is also easy to request a consignment at IBID.The auction house offers consignment service in two tiers: regular and exclusive. Choosing the regular consignment service will require you to join the live auction at the venue to get your car sold.
When you cannot attend live auctions but need to sell quickly, try the special service offered through the exclusive consignment, also known as Flash Auction.
Just as with your own car, there are several steps to consigning a company car at IBID. Check them out below.
First, sign up to become a member of IBID. Remember, though, as you are consigning cars on behalf of your company, follow the sign-up process for companies. Detailed instructions for company registration can be found here.
Another benefit of using a company account is that you can act on behalf of your company to request a consignment without intermediaries.

With a company account, you can consign cars, participate in auctions, purchase Auction Participant Number (NPL), and also redeem your IBID Points.
That said, should you prefer it, you can sign up as a personal member using your email or social media account. Make sure you fill out all your details in the account settings.
Navigate to the ‘Titip Lelang’ tab on the IBID website or application, complete the consignment form, and schedule a car inspection. For regular consignment, you can bring your car to a nearby IBID lot for inspection. For exclusive consignment, you can have your car inspected at your home, office, or other designated location.
After selecting an inspection date, the IBID team (inspector) will contact you within 2x24 hours (business day) to confirm vehicle details and inspection timing. Following the inspection, the team will provide a recommended price based on the car’s condition.
After completing the consignment form and inspection, select a Flash Auction date. These auctions last approximately 15 minutes and are conducted by IBID’s inspectors.
When they find a buyer, they will take the car to an IBID lot to get the handover record. Payment details will be sent via email.
