Committed to Public Education, TRAC Hosts an Educational Campaign

As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, Serasi Autoraya (SERA) hosted another road safety training program titled Ayo Aman Berlalu Lintas, targeted at the members of the Saka Bhayangkara Law Enforcement Special Unit of Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) as well as rovers and senior rovers of the Scouts. The training occurred on August 28, 2023, at the Yogyakarta City Hall. Among those invited to the event were Gusti Kanjeng Ratu Mangkubumi Hamemayu Hayuning Bawana Langgeng ing Mataram, the Chair of the Scout Provincial Council of DIY, the Chair of the Scout City Council of Yogyakarta, members of the Scout special units, the Head of Scout Education and Training Center of Yogyakarta.


Representing the Yogyakarta Regional Police Force were the Deputy Chief of the Yogyakarta Resort Police Force (Polresta) and the Head of the Community Development Unit of Polresta Yogyakarta. SERA was represented by Happy Putro Wibowo (Head of the Corporate General Affairs Division), Agus Supriyadi (Head of Health, Security and Environment, and Compliance Management Department), and Erik Dewantara (TRAC Driver Services Training Supervisor). 


“We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the promoters at the Saka Bhayangkara for making today’s safe riding campaign event possible. Through this event, we aim to improve the public awareness of road safety and spread this useful knowledge to as wide an audience as possible, in schools and families, bringing the benefits to more people,” stated Happy Putro Wibowo in his welcome speech.


The event comprised two training sessions: Education and Training for Road Safety Promoters, led by Agus Supriyadi and Erik Dewantara, and Basics of Leadership, led by Happy Putro Wibowo. SERA has so far trained 300 road safety promoters across South Lampung, Palembang, and Yogyakarta. The program will be expanded to four other cities in Indonesia: Bandung, Jakarta, Bali, and Surabaya.
