SERA Merdeka! Celebrating the Independence Day with New Pride and Spirit

This year, SERA celebrated the historic moment of Independence Day with great enthusiasm. The festivities of the 78th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia took place from 7 to 21 August 2023, with the main celebration being held on 16 August 2023. Several competitions were organized, and everyone in SERA Group, including its various divisions and branches, was invited to join. Reflecting the anniversary theme, “Moving Forward for an Advanced Indonesia,” all activities were conducted in the spirit of unity and collaboration among all members of SERA Group.

Various competitions, such as quiz bowl, Independence Day relay race and games, and vehicle pull using rescue vehicles, aimed to test each team's solidarity and synergy in overcoming challenges requiring cooperation and coordination. A band live performance also added to the excitement of the participants. To celebrate the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, costume and office decorating contests were also held, exploring the theme of Indonesia. The participants were challenged to present themselves in elaborate costumes representing the characteristics of each region in the country. They also decorated their office creatively, using various materials to reflect the Independence Day vibe.

Besides embodying the spirit of Independence Day through competitions and providing entertainment for its employees, on 17 August 2023, SERA Group held a solemn flag ceremony at Grha SERA, attended by several members of the board of directors and more than 100 select representatives of the employees. Concurrently, flag ceremonies were held at all branch offices and subsidiaries, including TRAC, mobil88, IBID, and SELOG. The ceremony reflects SERA Group’s nationalism in honoring and commemorating the services of the national heroes. It also shows the spirit of independence and nationalism.

Through all the activities, SERA Group hoped for a commitment by everyone under its wings to make nationalism an integral part of their daily lives. Together, we will build a stronger, more united, and more prosperous Indonesia.
