For example, ten used cars are scheduled for an auction at this week's Timed Auction from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB). All the cars will be displayed together for that auction.
The highest bidders, who will bring home the used cars, will be announced when the auction concludes. Whereas, at a Flash Auction, five cars may be auctioned simultaneously, but only from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. WIB.
There are two types of auction participant numbers, called NPL (nomor peserta lelang/Auction Participant Numbers), provided for the participants: NPL Live (for a Live Auction) and NPL Timed (for Timed and Flash Auctions).
At a Flash Auction, the used cars are of somewhat mint condition as they have been inspected by Astra Car Valuation (ACV) experts. For consignors, IBID’s auction helps to ensure their cars are sold quickly. For bidders, IBID helps them buy used cars in good condition. As for Timed Auction, it is scheduled like a Live Auction.
A Flash Auction is equipped with Live Streaming and Live Chat features for its participants. Each bidder with NPL can ask 10 questions about the condition of a car to the inspector through the Live Chat feature. The inspector can show the details of the used car in question through Live Streaming by directly focusing the camera on the part asked about by the bidder.

Flash Auction provides the convenience of an online auction. From home, participants can obtain the details of lots through Live Streaming so they need not worry about the problems arising from buying used cars as their condition is described in detail.
