Director General of State Assets Management (Dirjen KN) Visits IBID Jakarta

January 17th, 2023, the Director General of State Assets Management (Dirjen KN) Rionald Silaban and the Auction Director of the Directorate General of State Assets Management (DJKN) Joko Prihanto visited PT Balai Lelang Serasi (IBID) Jakarta. The President Director of IBID Daddy Doxa Manurung and the Head of Digital Business Marketing and Product Development of IBID Wisnu Pryasto welcomed the two together with other IBID team members.

“We thank Dirjen KN and DJKN’s Auction Director for a visit to IBID. We are honored to be given a chance to introduce the innovations undertaken by IBID as an auction company in Indonesia,” said Daddy Doxa Manurung.

During the visit, IBID’s team introduced the video-assisted live auction and flash auction. The live auction is a regular auction held in all IBID’s branches following a specified schedule. Meanwhile, the flash auction is an exclusive auction in which sellers can specify their auction schedule. Flash auction is conducted via live streaming. This facilitates bidders to raise queries and interact with the auctioneer.

IBID also demonstrated the use of the system for inspecting or checking the vehicles before being auctioned, namely Astra Car Valuation (ACV) 2.0.Such a system can be used by individuals or end users and companies requiring assistance in inspecting vehicles, such as used car dealers, transportation companies, and/or logistics companies. The ACV 2.0 can check cars’ electrical systems using the OBD scanner. The previous version could only check cars’ exterior, interior, frame, and engine.

In addition to ACV, IBID has Market Auction Price (MAP), which is also an important tool to support the processes implemented before the online auction. MAP is a map that helps auctioneers and bidders know current car prices. With ACV and MAP, bidders and sellers can be more confident in buying or selling cars via online auctions.

We hope ACV can be used as the standard tool for auction car inspection, and we aspire to continue supporting the digital transformation of the country’s auction industry,” concluded Daddy Doxa Manurung.
