PT Serasi Logistik Indonesia (SELOG) was awarded the Kaizen B2B Best Sub-Depot during the annual meeting conducted by PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) SPLD Services Logistics Division, Cibitung. This award is given to the partners of TAM following a performance assessment conducted for one year, which focuses on the operational and managerial aspects. The annual meeting was held on October 27–28th, 2022, and attended by the Board of Directors, the company’s management, the Head of Depo, and the Person in Charge (PIC) of the Kaizen B2B Sub-Depot of TAM.
Kaizen Sub-Depot is a competition focusing on the improvisation made in warehouse operations. TAM employed several themes for the competition, including “Productivity, Service Rate, and Delivery.”During the assessment, Depos were allowed to create an improvement project. They then presented the project before the management of TAM SPLD. The management finally assessed the project following the set rules. The purpose of this competition is to foster quality operations that are used to standardize the services by TAM Depos to ensure the delivery of quality sales and aftersales services for consumers.
Warehouse management system is an essential tool for warehouse handling. Such a system monitors and controls the warehouse’s operations and ensures seamless activities within the warehouse, such as goods receipt and storage, dispatch, stocktake, and reporting to realize cost efficiency.
