SERA CONTRIBUTES TO THE SUCCESS OF THE COVID-19 VACCINATION PROGRAM

Jakarta – PT Serasi Autoraya (SERA), a subsidiary of Astra, contributes to the success of the government’s vaccination program for the purpose of handling the current pandemic.

The vaccination program has been met with enthusiasm by all employees. The program has been carried out since March 2021 via various initiatives. Around 5,000 employees and their families have been registered to participate in the vaccination program. The program itself is divided into several stages, which will be carried out across Indonesia. At the initial stage, around 1,000 employees have participated in the vaccination program, starting from Jakarta, Bali, Lombok, Malang, and Surabaya. The program will eventually be conducted at all SERA’s branches in Indonesia.

“During the pandemic, the occupational health and safety of all SERA employees are our main priorities. As one of the steps to support the government’s program in handling the pandemic, SERA is committed to ensuring the success of the Covid-19 vaccination program so that we can continue to provide an excellent and safe service to the customers,” said Yosafat Siregar, the Presiden Director of SERA.

Yosafat added that in addition to vaccination, SERA also proactively and continuously takes strategic measures focusing on the safety and health of its employees. It does so by implementing strict health and hygiene protocols in all work facilities and environments. Such action is in accordance with the regulation and directive of the Covid-19 Prevention Protocol for business players issued by the Government and the Task Force for the Acceleration of Covid-19 Handling.  SERA also regulates its employees’ work patterns and the provision of supplements. Furthermore, it provides transportation to and from the office for employees who work from the office (WFO). “Even if they have been vaccinated, we continue to urge employees to maintain discipline in implementing health protocol during their daily activities,” concluded Yosafat.
