Go on a Comfortable Trip Around Nusa Dua, Bali with Toyota’s Electric Car

Toyota Indonesia recently celebrated its 50th birthday in Indonesia. For this reason, Toyota introduces an ecosystem that is integrated with electrified products such as battery electric vehicles (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV). 

Through the EV Smart Mobility project in The Nusa Dua, Bali, Toyota prepares 20 units of Toyota COMS, 5 units of Toyota C+pod, and 5 units of Toyota Prius PHEV, which can be rented by the people. 

Toyota COMS and C+pod electric vehicles are used by the people and tourists within The Nusa Dua Bali to support tourism.

Meanwhile, Toyota Prius PHEV is used in the airport transfer service from and to Ngurah Rai Airport area and other activities in the Bali area.

Toyota collaborates with other parties, including SERA and TRAC, in presenting this ecotourism service, especially to handle the operational activities of the EV Smart Mobility project.

Moreover, as part of the effort to applying green and renewable energy, the EV Smart Mobility project is also equipped with solar panel technology to meet the need of shelters/stations used to charge electricity for Toyota’s electrified vehicles.

To be able to use the services of EV Smart Mobility project, in addition to coming directly to the station in front of the central parking area of The Nusa Dua (in front of Bali Collection) or to the station in the entrance area of Peninsula Island, The Nusa Dua, EV Smart Mobility can also be accessed digitally through the TRAC To Go application. 

Besides that, Toyota also equips the Toyota C+pod and Toyota Prius PHEV units with the Digital Key feature so that the users can access all things digitally, from booking, payment, to opening and locking the car door as well as starting the car only using their smartphone.

With such digitalized process, users can utilize vehicles without having to make direct contact with lots of people, which will translate to a better implementation of health protocols.

Furthermore, to improve our service, all 30 units in the EV Smart Mobility project will be sterilized before and after use. That way, users can enjoy a driving experience with Toyota’s fun, easy-to-use, safe, and comfortable electrified vehicles.
