TRAC Serves Transportation Needs during IMF-WB Annual Meetings

Bali – Indonesia was trusted to be the host of IMF-World Bank Annual Meetings (2018 AM), welcoming 15,000 delegates from 189 member countries. In this event that scheduled up to 2,000 meetings, TRAC had the chance to serve the transportation needs of some delegates from October 5-15.

"To give the best service, TRAC has made sure that the vehicles and drivers can perform optimally," TRAC Chief Operating Officer Agus Riyadi said.

TRAC prepared 87 vehicles that would serve the transportation needs of delegates such as the Singapore Embassy, Monetary Authority of Singapore, Enterprise Singapore, Ministry of Hungaria, Ministry of Canada, Ministry of Zambia, PT Astra International, and Pelindo.

According to Riadi, TRAC was experienced in serving important guests during international events, for example, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum and Asian–African Conference.

For your information, 2018 AM was one of the largest and influential events on finance and economy, which brings together central bank governors and finance ministers from 189 member countries, along with prominent persons from private sector, academics, NGOs, and media. The meetings also featured side events such as seminars, investment forum, FGD, workshop, and cultural events.

Citing the official website of Bank Indonesia, "The main objectives of hosting the Meetings are showcasing Indonesia and Asia as a reformed, resilient, and progressive economies."

Furthermore, the government also hoped that the Meetings would benefit the country, particularly in foreign exchange reserve gain, trade and investment, as well as tourism. Therefore, TRAC guaranteed the best service for the success of 2018 AM as well as to support the government's program.
