Jakarta – TRAC, a subsidiary of PT Serasi Autoraya (SERA), expands network in tourism sector through membership in Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA). This partnership begins TRAC’s journey in expanding its network to Asia Pacific region.
“Therefore, TRAC is expected to reach a wider market. Moreover, Indonesia’s tourism is getting more well known on international stage,” TRAC Chief Operating Officer Agus Riyadi said when receiving membership certification from PATA CEO Poernomo Siswoprasetijo,Thursday (August 2).
TRAC realized the potential of tourism in Asia Pacific. Data by Asia Pacific Visitor Forecasts 2017-2021 reveals that this sector grows 5.0% on average each year with an estimated revenue of $887 billion in 2021.
Through PATA membership, we hope that we can improve promotion of TRAC’s services for tourism sector which can also be an added value for us. This effort is in line with TRAC’s strategy to increase service penetration in domestic tourism sector.
With TRAC branches spread across many big cities in Indonesia, we keep developing various products and services, including by planning tour packages to popular domestic destinations.
