SAFETY, HEALTHY & ENVIRONMENT

Overview

As a continuously growing corporation, SERA is aware of the importance of health, safety, and environment (HSE) in running the business. We are committed to minimize possible risk in Corporate activity, including risks related to health, safety, and environment (HSE). This commitment aims to ensure that there is no working accident, employees’ health problem, and environmental pollution, that could interfere business operational process of corporation.

We have systematically implemented the prevention of HSE risks with PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) methods and with certified OHSAS 18001: 2007 (Standard of Health and Safety Management System/SMK3), and also referred to SMK3 based on Government’s decree Number 50 Year 2012.

Those risks controlling implementation is  conducted through :

  1. Travel management program, safety driving, chemical material controlling, vehicles maintenance safety, and investigation process when there is work accident, also restoration action and the prevention.
  2. Program to ensure that employees are ready to work through periodical health examination (Medical Check Up/MCU), fatigue management and the examination (Fatigue Test), and  examination regarding the consumption of drug and alcohol (Drug and Alcohol Test).
  3. Development program related to Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) and Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS).
  4. Periodical campaign program of awareness and understanding about HSE for employees and related party about safety working, safety driving, healthy lifestyle, and environmental friendly behavior.
